|Recommended: YesNice Home — It feels like a home. The neighbors are kind and offered to help when we moved in with lifting heavy things. Grounds are maintained once a week and always look gorgeous. It has a really nice, calm, kind of homey feeling.

|Recommended: YesGreat place to live — We've lived here only 4 months but its been a nice, quite time, Westmall Terrace is ideally located close to Tacoma mall and many resturants. The staff has been great since we first came to looked at the apartments and continues to be very helpful.. We just had a complete remodel of the kitchen and bathroom which is beautiful, it was done professionally and very quickly.. I highly recommend Westmall Terrace.

|Recommended: YesQuiet, well kept community with friendly staff — My wife and I LOVE Westmall. One of the biggest reasons we appreciate this complex so much is the office staff. They are friendly and always available. They keep really good hours which makes picking up packages and getting questions answered really easy. I love that they are open on the weekends because my job hours prevent me from getting in on the weekdays.
The apartment is well-constructed and I feel like I am getting a very good value in terms of space for the price. Parking can be a little dicey, especially late at night, but there have always been spaces. Sometimes you have to walk father than you are used to. They also allow pets and do not charge pet rent or insane pet deposits, which makes having cats a lot more reasonable than in other apartments.
We have not had too many interactions with the maintenance staff, but any time we needed something fixed, they did it right away. Overall, we love living at Westmall and are very happy to call it home.

|Recommended: YesThe best place to live in Pierce County — The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate people to get into the complex. The grounds are keep clean, the landscaping is always beautiful. The quiet at times is almost deafening. I've never felt this safe and relaxed in any apartment I've rented in the past.
I would recommend this property to anyone that wants to ask.
|Recommended: YesProperty is great but needs more parking. — Apartments are great to live in and conveniently located however the parking is awful. There is hardly anywhere to park at night and cars always parked in the no parking zones.

Im glad you love your apartment. Parking does get a little tight in the evening because our community is so full. Our staff does everything they can to police parking after hours for vehicles that dont have parking passes to try and free up as many spaces as we can for our residents. We appreciate your feedback!

|Recommended: YesNice enough staff, Terrible Parking, OK Location — It's not bad, It's in a good location and the apartments aren't terrible. It suits my needs single guy only in WA for two years . What truly drives me crazy though is the lack of parking and the lack of parking enforcement. The ladies in the office send out notes with idle threats about towing vehicles that are mot authorized to be in the complex after hours but nothing happens....besides, I really don't think a tow truck could maneuver enough to actually tow a car. The garbage area is pretty nasty too, at least on the lower level it looks like a flea market every so often... they've got one maintenance guy that I've seen and from what it looks like, that dude is busting his ass on a daily basis, tip of the hat to you sir.
All that being said, this place isn't terrible and I've recommended it to friends and renewed my lease.

Thank you for your feedback! Parking does get tight with our property being so full especially in the evening time. The letters we send out are not meant to be idle threats but more of courtesy warnings for those not following rules because we actually do tow vehicles after hours on a weekly basis. Unfortunately, just like everyone else we are not available 24/7. We also just added 14 new spaces to our community 2 weeks ago. We have two maintenance techs and a groundskeeper. The person I believe you are referring to is our groundskeeper who does work really hard at keeping our grounds and trash area clean. There is no way for us to enforce residents to use the compactor properly and not leave trash outside the door. The compactor is intended to run automatically the third time the door is opened and shut however doesn't make it that far before people leave trash outside the door causing a domino effect. The worst is over night when the office is closed. However, it is checked and cleaned on the hour during office hours. We are glad you like your apartment and decided to stay! I like that I'm close to the freeway and lots of stores, although Iiving close to the mall is kinda dangerous I think it's a great price and I love my studio. Feels very homey. Barely hear neighbors. Am planning on staying couple years.
